As part of the Dean’s Lecture and Concert Series, Musician-in-Residence Peter Pesic will present a program of “Night Music.” The concert includes Haydn’s Andante and Variations in F Minor, Leon Kirchner’s Piano Sonata, and Chopin’s Nocturnes.
Peter Pesic is a tutor and musician-in-residence at St. John’s College. He earned his bachelor’s of arts degree at Harvard University and master’s of science degree and doctorate from Stanford University. He was an associate at Stanford Linear Accelerator Center from 1970 to 1975 and a lecturer at Stanford University starting in 1976. Pesic has been a tutor on the Santa Fe campus since 1980.
The Fall 2009 Dean’s Lecture and Concert Series is open to the community. The free lectures offer an opportunity to explore a deeper reading of books in the St. John’s Program as well as other topics.
