The Fund for St. John's – Annual Support for the College 2012-2013
How can my gift make a difference for St. John’s College?
Gifts to The Fund for St. John’s are put to immediate use and directed to the areas where they are most needed.Tuition fees account for 70% of St. John’s annual revenues. Donations directed to The Fund for St. John’s build a bridge between tuition revenues and the actual cost of a St. John’s education, ensuring that all students, regardless of financial need, have access to a first-class liberal arts education.
The college’s current priorities are Financial Aid, Academic Excellence, Enhancement of Student Life, and Outreach Programs. Your gift of $10, $100, $1,000 or any amount that is significant to you can give students the opportunity to say “yes” to the academic experience of St. John’s. Here are just a few examples of what your gift, small or large, can do:
$10 will enable a student to participate in the Take a Tutor to Lunch Program
$25 will buy magazines and videos for the Career Services Resource Library
$100 will provide one hour of Writing, Math or French assistance
$500 will provide a new microscope for use in freshman and senior lab classes
$1,000 will provide web-based library access to journals in philosophy, political science, and the arts
$10,000 will provide scholarship aid to deserving students
