Lecture by Mr. Elliott Zuckerman (HA95), tutor emeritus - “Why I Still Scan Verse; or: How to Sleep in a Procrustean Bed” - Francis Scott Key Auditorium

Saturday, April 20
9:30 a.m.  
Alumni-Student Seminars - Great Hall. Seminars will be led by Christopher Nelson (SF70), Eva Brann (HA89), Sam Kutler (A54) and Joseph MacFarland (A87) on two chapters from Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll: Chapter 7 - “A Mad Tea-Party” and Chapter 8 - “The Queen’s Croquet-Ground.” Registration required. Registration ends April 17, 2013. Space is limited and tutor choices will be fulfilled on a first come first served basis. Check- in starts at 9 a.m. Come to the Great Hall for your room assignment. Coffee and other beverages will be available.

Ground Rules

To ensure a grand, family-friendly lawn party, please note the following:

Food and alcohol:
- No outside alcohol permitted on campus.
- Food and soft drinks will be available for cash purchase on campus.
- There will be cash bars for champagne, wine, and beer.
- Grills are not permitted on campus.
- Coolers and bags are subject to inspection.

Additional:
- There will be five designated entrances to the match site.
- Guests are not permitted to set up spaces before 10 a.m. on the morning of the match.
- Only lawn chairs, blankets, and tables lower than two feet are permitted in the area around the match site.
- No pets allowed.
- We ask guests to kindly remove all trash from their spaces and leave in designated areas.
- All personal items must be removed from the campus by 7 p.m. or they become the property of St. John's College.

Tents:
Tents are allowed in designated areas and by permit only. There is a fee for tent spaces ($25 for SJC alumni and $50 for non-alumni). Spaces are reserved on a first come, first served basis and only one space per applicant is permitted.  Registration required. Tent space registration ends April 12, 2013.

Parking: Free weekend parking is available at the state garage at the corner of St. John and Calvert Streets.
