Meet the Admissions Staff: Roberta Gable
A New Jersey native, Roberta Gable will always carry the Garden State in her heart, but has been a Marylander since 1974, when she enrolled at St. John’s in Annapolis. After graduation in 1978, she left the college, intending never to return, but she was wrong. Roberta has worked for the college for 24 years, in a cavalcade of positions, including bookstore manager, director of alumni activities, director of career services, and director of athletics (Beat Navy!). Her graduate education at the University of Michigan was in the social sciences, purportedly in communication, but focused in social psychology. Roberta is married and has one son.
