Among the

have read in

whom would
you describe
as friends?
Enemies?Why?
I really admire Chaucer
for his beautiful depictions
of the characters in
The Canterbury Tales.
He portrays these people
in their skin by using
their stories and tying
in detailed physical
descriptions that speak to
their character. I have a

I am constantly surprised
how much some people
can do with a day! Time
management is crucial at
a school where the work
barely stops and one’s

really see myself sitting
down and having coffee
with Chaucer and chatting
about how past experi-
ences shape a person.
I really don’t dislike any
of the authors that I’ve
encountered in the
program thus far. Some
don’t make sense to me,
but I blame myself for
not fully understanding
their message. However,
I’m still a sophomore
and have many more
things to discover.

allowed me to focus on
the important aspects
of the classes I was
beginning to feel
frustrated with. Time was

however, harness my
